Description
“What fun things are you going to do this summer?” asks the teacher. “We’re going to Legoland, to Thailand, to the water park,” everyone else replies. ‘We’re going on safari,’ I say. But actually, that’s not true, because Mum says we’re having a stay-at-home summer holiday and just staying here. She says we can still have fun, go for a swim and maybe sleep on the balcony if the weather’s nice. But then she changes her mind and digs out a tent, a camping stove and camping gear. And so we cycle off on safari, just her and me.
