Vi tycker där är allt för lång tid till detta års bokmässa – därför värmer vi upp med en minimässa på Kvinnofolkhögskolan lördag den 3e juni med workshop, föredrag och folkkök!
11-16: Workshop om grafikdesign med Sesil Knage (workshopen hållas på engelska)
Images are not only constantly present in our surroundings, they are also a powerful way to convey ideas and messages. Graphical design is therefore an important skill to learn if you want to get politically involved and want to let others know about what you think or you plan to do. While it is an art that is hard to master, it is possible to learn the basics of how to design your own posters, stickers or social media banners relatively quickly – which is why we arrange two workshops* on the topic as part of our series on the Revolutionary’s tools.
In the second workshop we will receive an introduction into communication strategy. We will then move on to talk about some of the practicalities of graphic design such as color techniques, typography and how to pick a good image or illustration suiting the purpose of your design. This knowledge will then be put into practice when you design your own poster (on your own computer or with arts and crafts).
The workshop will be held by Sesil, you can find her work at @barrikadegrafik. The language will be english, and the workshop will approximately take 5 hours including a lunch break. Syndikalistiskt Forum will provide lunch for a small price.

18-19 : Autonom organisering: Genus och fascism (svenska)
Vad är fascismen? Är det bara en ideologi för förvirrade och hatiska unga män som egentligen bara behöver mer kärlek? Är fascism samma sak som kommunismen, två sidor av samma mynt? Är det endast en direkt produkt av kapitalismens förfall? Vad binder samman ISIS, Sverigedemokraterna och incels? Det är män som röstar på fascistpartier. Det är män som är med i nazistgrupper.
Det är män som överväldigande radikaliseras in i högerradikala onlinesubkulturer som incels. Ofta så ser vi endast till materiella förändringar, t.ex kriser i kapitalismen eller ökad polarisering mellan klasser, som grunderna för fascismen, men varför är det i så fall män som i så hög grad radikaliseras högerut när kvinnor är fattigare? Varför spelar hat mot transpersoner, feminism och LGBTQIA+ personer så stor roll i den moderna fascismen tillsammans med en aggressiv hypermaskulinitet?
I det här föredraget ger Autonom Organisering en kort introduktion till olika fascismteorier och visar på hur de systematiskt är blinda för genusfrågan. Därefter så lägger de fram en feministisk analys om maskulinitet, femininitet och makt i relation till klass och rasism för att bättre kunna förstå och därmed bättre bekämpa fascismen. Föredraget presenteras i samarbete med Framåt Kamrater.
Evenemanget sker på Kvinnofolkhögskolan, ingång från Masthuggstorget.
