Palestinasolidaritetsrörelsen i Göteborg har en lång och stolt historia som likt hela världen har fått ett nytt kapitel genom den israeliska bosättarkoloniala ockupationens snart två år långa öppna folkmordskrig i Palestinas Gaza och det breda motståndet mot det. När vi från denna punkt blickar bakåt, och framåt, ställer vi oss gemensamt genom detta panelsamtal frågor som: Vad har solidaritetsrörelsens roll och uppgifter varit och vad är de idag? Vilka möjliga, nödvändiga och önskvärda mål ser vi utifrån läget och utvecklingen som råder? Vilka är våra nästkommande steg, och hur och med vem tar vi dem?

Palestine Solidarity – A Gothenburg Story
The Palestine solidarity movement in Gothenburg has a long and proud history which, like the rest of the world, has entered a new chapter with the Israeli settler colonial occupation’s nearly two-year-long open war of genocide in Gaza, Palestine, and the widespread resistance against it. Looking back and forward from this point, we will use this panel discussion to ask questions such as: What has been the role and task of the solidarity movement, and what are they today? What possible, necessary, and desirable goals do we see based on the current situation and developments? What are our next steps, and how and with whom will we take them?
