Historik
Föreningen Syndikalistiskt Forum bildades 1980. Ursprungligen var bokhandeln belägen i bottenvåningen av allaktivitetshuset Sprängkullen, och senare på Landsvägsgatan där denna går ihop med Linnégatan. I samband med att Göteborgs Lokala Samorganisation (Göteborgs LS) i början av 1990-talet flyttade ner till markplan i Folkets Hus så flyttade Forum in i samma lokaler. Ett decennium senare, efter att Folkets Hus bestämt sig för att slå ihop ett stort antal butikslokaler till en gigantisk danslokal, så flyttade LS upp en våning och Forum flyttade till nya lokaler. På Övre Husargatan 27 byggde vi en fin butik och därtill ett bibliotek, och stannade från februari 2012 till september 2018.
Nu hittas er lokala bokhandel och kafé på våning 3 (rum 303) i Viktoriahuset, på Linnégatan 21!
Vad vi vill
Vår målsättning är att vara en öppen bokhandel och mötesplats för Göteborgs vänster i bred mening. Vår paroll är feminism, folkbildning och klasskamp och det är utifrån det vi organiserar vår verksamhet.

History
The Syndikalistiskt Forum association came into existence in 1980. It was located on the bottom floor of the social center Sprängkullen and then moved to Landsvägatan. In the beginning of the 1990s Gothenburg local chapter of the syndicalist union (Göteborgs LS) moved to the bottom floor at Folkets hus and Syndikalistiskt forum (the book café) moved in with them. About a decade later Folkets hus decided to close a lot of shop premises to open a big dance house. LS moved one floor up at Folkets hus and Syndikalistiskt forum moved to new premises. At Övre Husargatan 27 we built a nice store, café and a library, and we stayed there from February 2012 until September 2018.
Now your local bookstore and café can be found on the 3rd floor (room 303) at Viktoriahuset on Linnégatan 21!
What we want
Our goal is to be an open bookstore and Gothenburg’s meeting place for the left in broad terms. Our slogan is feminism, popular education and class struggle and it is on this basis we organise our activities.
